Nino Mikaberidze, MD is a rheumatologist specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and autoimmune disorders, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Dr. Mikaberidze has been a practicing physician for over 15 years, most recently as the Assistant Director of Rheumatology at Northwell Health.

She is drawn to the management of complex, autoimmune system diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis, seronegative spondyloarthopathy and other rare, hard-to-detect syndromes. Dr. Mikaberidze also specializes in the treatment of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), positional orthostatic tachycardia syndrome POTS and Small Fiber Neuropathy (SFN).

Treatment of these diseases involves coordination with a multidisciplinary team, biological and immunosuppressive medication therapy, injections, and infusions.

She attended medical school at the David Tvildiani Medical University Tbilisi, Georgia and completed her residency at the Jacobi Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Mikaberidze completed her rheumatology fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY. Dr. Mikaberidze is board certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine and is fluent in English, Russian and Georgian.
